Superhero Day!
Sunday, August 26th 10:00-12:00
American Legion 3220 W College Ave Appleton
10:00-10:45- Join Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. They will lead the children in a warm up. Then, they will be broken up into 3 “leagues” and each “league” will complete an activity with each of the 3 heroes. Batman will be helping the children decorate a mask to take home, Superman will be helping the children to pick a superhero name, and Wonder Woman will be helping the children with some high jump, long jump, and high kick training. They will then meet back together for some choreographed superhero training with all 3 heroes along with photo opportunities with each for the remaining 10 minutes. $8/child. One Parent is free with paid child admission. Limited to 24 children.
10:45-11:15- Intermission: Superhero Treats & Drinks will be available for purchase. Souvenir type items will also be available for purchase. Dance party music will be played during the intermission. Cardboard cut out standees and props available for kids to try.
11:15-12:00 Join Captain America, Spiderman, and Black Window. They will lead the children in a warm up. Then, they will be broken up into 3 “Assemble” groups and each “Assemble” will complete an activity with each of the 3 heroes.Captain America will be helping the children with some tactical training (bucket walking, agility ladder, tossing). Black Widow will help the children assemble a superhero glider to take home, , Superman will be playing a game with the children. They will then meet back together for some choreographed superhero training with all 3 heroes along with photo opportunities with each for the remaining time.. $8/child. Parent is free. Limited to 24 children. $8/child. One parent is free with paid child admission. Limited to 24 children.
